The Boy Scouts of America (BSA) - This program has been officially endorsed by the National office of the Boy Scouts of America and is being conducted with the assistance of BSA's National Conservation Committee.
Bowfishing Association of America
- The Bowfishing Association is providing leadership to demonstrate
common practices used in the sport of bowfishing.
Cabela's, Inc. - Cabela's is a key corporate sponsor of the Trailblazer Adventure Program. Mary Cabela, founding partner of Cabela's, is the program's national chairman.
Fur Takers of America - Fur Takers supports the Trailblazer program through financial donations and provides instructors to teach about America's trapping heritage at nearly every event.
Gander Mountain - The USSAF proudly partnered
with Gander Mountain to host Trailmaster Mentoring Days in Fall
2006. The opportunities allowed families, many who had been
introduced to outdoor sports during Trailblazer Adventure Days, to
work with sportsmen mentors. The events were held at Gander Mountain
retail stores, allowing participants to investigate equipment
options.
International Association of Fish and Wildlife Agencies (IAFWA) - IAFWA is providing advice and support to this program from its National Headquarters in Washington, D.C. State fish and wildlife agencies provide direct support to the projects in their states.
Masters of Foxhounds Association of America - Masters of Foxhounds is encouraging all of its affiliate hunt clubs to get involved in the Trailblazer program to educate young people about all aspects of fox hunting.
National
Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF) - The Trailblazer
Adventure Program is
endorsed by the NSSF's STEP OUTSIDE Program and NSSF is a major
sponsor.
National Wild Turkey Federation (NWTF) - NWTF chapters provide volunteers for many Trailblazer events. They help young people learn about hunting, turkey calling and conservation. NWTF also provides funding for the program.
Ohio Division of Wildlife - The
Ohio Division of Wildlife sets an example for other state wildlife
agencies by providing leadership and resources for the Trailblazer
Adventure Day.
The
Outdoor Channel -
Founded by
outdoorsmen for outdoorsmen, The Outdoor Channel, a key contributor
to Trailblazer, features quality programming designed to educate and
entertain sportsmen of all skill levels. The channel promotes the
traditional outdoor activities that are a vital part of our national
heritage including fishing, hunting and shooting. To subscribe to
the Outdoor Channel, contact your local cable provider, or satellite
providers - Dish network, or Direct TV.
The U.S. Army - The U.S. Army Marksmanship Unit
shotgun shooting team members will give shooting demonstrations and
expert instruction at select Trailblazer events nationwide. The Army
will also provide promotional give-a-ways to all Trailblazer
attendees.
U.S. Sportsmen's Alliance Foundation - The Trailblazer Adventure Program is an authorized program of the U.S. Sportsmen’s Alliance Foundation. The Foundation has created this exciting program to introduce youth and their parents to the adventure and excitement of the outdoors.
The Foundation's role is to administer the program including program development, recognition incentives and material production. Members from affiliated and non-affiliated outdoor clubs provide volunteer support as Trail Guide leaders.
